CO-FOUNDER & ADVISOR 

As a co-founder of DS Global Singapore, Mr Darren Yeo plays an important role as the main advisor in the overall company's strategy. He has over 30 years of industry experience under his belt.

He played a key role in charting the long-term strategy of Vallianz during his tenure as Executive Vice Chairman on the Board of Directors since December 2012. Prior to this, he co-founded Swiber Holdings and Kreuz Holdings Ltd. (currently known as K Subsea Group)

Leveraging on his wealth of industry knowledge and experience, he is able to connect like-minded individuals and businesses to achieve shared objectives. His ability to connect people and foster relationships has proven to be an invaluable asset in his work, allowing him to drive meaningful and impactful collaborations that benefit all stakeholders involved. 

DIRECTOR

Chris Sun is the current Director at DS Global Singapore. He is a seasoned professional with 18 years of EPCI Project Management and engineering expertise in the oil and gas sector, encompassing offshore installation, construction, and quality control. As a Senior Project Engineer, Installation Manager, and Brownfield Modification and Logistics Manager, he contributed significantly to offshore oil EPCI projects. With 5 years of overseas experience, Chris has excelled in construction and installation design, overseeing coordination, execution, and marine warranty approval for both onshore and offshore projects.

In addition to his technical prowess, Chris possesses a wealth of marketing and sales experience in the oil & gas field, focusing on Offshore Engineering and Third-Party Consultation Business. His strong client relationships with industry giants such as CNOOC, CHEVRON, PTTEP, and Anadarko attest to his effective selling and management skills. Notably, Chris's career includes key roles at China Offshore Oil Engineering Company, Global Maritime, and Hengtai Global Offshore Engineering, where he served as Deputy General Manager, contributing significantly to the success of projects like ZAWTIKA Phase 1B EPCIC.

GENERAL MANAGER

Donald Ow, the General Manager at DS Global Singapore, is a maritime and offshore industry veteran with a career that began in 2002 as a Heavy Lift Projects forwarding specialist. Since 2007, he has focused on marketing specialized assets, including self-propelled self-elevating liftboats, barges, offshore supply vessels, and large anchor handling tugs. 

Donald's expertise in business development and sales extends across regions such as Africa, Europe, North America, and the Middle East. His exceptional performance led to his appointment as the Head of Marketing and Business Development for Africa. He has successfully secured numerous projects in the Middle East and Africa, cementing his status as a trusted industry expert.

Additionally, Donald is proficient in managing Sales and Purchase transactions of vessels, further enhancing his influence and contributions to DS Global Singapore. His career reflects his unwavering commitment to excellence in the maritime sector.
